WEEKLY UPDATE : 11th to 16th of May
Résumé: Aphylia’s May 11–16 update covers our first app tutorial video launch plus behind-the-scenes security hardening and a future-proof fix for the Aphydle publishing scheduler.

Hello flower friends!

It's been a quiet, focused week here at Aphylia — the kind we secretly love best. No fireworks, no flashy headline feature. Just a sweet little milestone, a soft polish in the background, and a few new conversations blooming in our comments.

Here's everything that mattered.

Lights, camera, Aphylia

We pressed publish on something we've been quietly working toward for weeks: our first proper tutorial video. It's a warm little walk-through of the app — what it does, how it feels to use, and a few of our favourite features — now waiting for you on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.

It's the kind of thing that's small to make and big to share. We hope it makes Aphylia feel a touch more familiar, especially for friends who are discovering us for the first time. (And if it makes you smile, a little share goes a long way)

Cosier, safer behind the scenes

While the camera lights were on, the rest of the app got a gentle tidy-up.

We tightened the locks on some of our internal admin tooling — the little staging room where we sort plant uploads before they reach you. Nothing about your account or your gardens was ever at risk, but the door to that staging space is now properly admin-only, which is exactly how it should always have been.

We also reactivated a quiet safety net that prevents anyone from accidentally tagging themselves as an Aphylia admin from the outside. It had been silently snoozing on a couple of our servers — and now it's wide awake again, watching the door politely.

And one last unglamorous victory: our automated publishing scheduler — the little robot that keeps our Aphydle posts going out on time — is now future-proofed against a silent sync hiccup that could have stopped it without warning. Tiny gears, big peace of mind.

None of these are sparkly. All of them are care..

A week of quiet pride

That's the kind of week we love: no spotlight, just steady, attentive care. Our first tutorial video is finally in your feed. The app's quietly safer underneath. And we're chatting more with the community we built this whole little world for.

Thanks for being part of this slow, joyful growth with us.

See you next Monday for another bouquet of news!
