Dearest gentle gardener, - yes we have seen the last season of Bridgerton - we are starting this new week with some new exciting changes to Aphylia ! Let’s review them together.
New Landing Page
Firstly, the landing page, where everything begins. The previous landing page lacked its own character, and we wanted to make it more to our image, but also more attractive and dynamic to the users eyes. Therefore, this new landing page introduced clear headlines and sub-headlines, prominent CTAs, and visually rich UI previews for features like Public Garden, Tasks, Analytics, Pet Warnings, and a new Encyclopedia section, so that now, any new users understands what is the purpose of Aphylia and how it can be an uplifting experience. We also finally linked all our social media at the bottom of the page, so you can follow our adventures on various platforms.
Favorite Plants
This week, we decided to make the possiblity of adding a plant to your favorite ones more instictive. From now on, you simply have to double tap a plant you like while swiping through discovery to add it to your favorites. Admire the hearts appearing on your screen while looking through new plants to upgrade your garden.
Efficient Encyclopedia
Going through the encyclopedia back and force can be tiresome, therefore, now have you have small arrow button at the bottom right corner of your screen to directly go back to the top of the encyclopedia. Also, now, when you are using the default order of the encyclopedia, you will find the plants with no images yet at the end of the list. No worries, when browsing through other filters, they will appear in alphabetical order, images or not.

Pro Advices
You might have noticed that some plants have a “Pro Advice” on their page but were not automatically translated. Now, a translation button features on the advices so you can understand the advices without any troubles regarding your language. The first translation generated will be stored so every other users can enjoy them !
New Admin Features
Behind the curtain, we also improved some features for our admins. First, we can now look for plant companions in both french and english. Also, admins are now able to Sort the Plants in our inventory by Creation Date, Update Date or by Name. We also added an easy visualisation of the latest addition of plants in our DB.
