Weekly Update : 4th to 11th of May
Summary: Aphylia’s May 4–11 weekly update fixes the PWA update popup loop, restores analytics scripts, improves feed ordering, navigation sizing, translations, and SEO pages, plus adds 13 new plants.

Hello dear gardeners ! It is time to go through our new updates !

A Seamless Update Experience

You’re probably familiar with that polite little popup announcing a new version of Aphylia. Previously, it had a few quirks—sometimes it wouldn’t disappear, looped endlessly on reload, or left you guessing which version was installing.

That’s all fixed now.

Updates now arrive cleanly, with the version number clearly displayed: "Aphylia v… ready". The process feels like a gentle tap rather than a stubborn knock. And if the app ever hesitates, a safety net kicks in after ten seconds, ensuring you’re never stuck on an outdated version.

It’s a small change, but it makes the entire experience feel more trustworthy.

Polished Details for a Better Experience

We’ve also refined some of the app’s finer details to make everything feel just a little smoother.

Chronological Plant Updates

No more time-travel surprises—plant updates now appear in the correct order in your feed.

Improved Navigation

Navigation buttons have been resized to a comfortable 44 pixels (following Apple’s standard), making tapping softer and more forgiving across all devices.

Enhanced Translations

French and English translations have been fine-tuned and are now 90% aligned, ensuring a seamless experience for our bilingual users.

SEO and Content Curation

SEO profile pages are now more intentional. They only appear when there’s enough rich content to justify their existence—less clutter, more substance.

Behind the Scenes: Analytics Restored

A small policy issue was blocking some helpful third-party scripts on the PWA. We’ve cleared the path, so analytics are back up and running. It’s invisible to you, but it gives us the insights we need to keep improving Aphylia.
